Can thin people get heart disease or diabetes?
Im 15 and I am in good health. For the past year, I have focussed all my attention toward acedemics, which means I have no time to exercise. Now, my sophomore and junior are yet to come, and I will have to put more towards the acedemic area.
Without exercise, I am worried if I would get heart problems or diabetes. What do you think? Till now, I am in perfect health. I am a bit underheight, and pretty thin (not anorexic of course).
My stomach is a wee bit fatty (not fat nor so stomachless), but I am pretty thin. Any suggestions?
I think I should add that I rarely eat food outside. Im vegeterian, and I intake much carbohydrates
I would like to ask for some advice on symptoms of long term stress?
I experienced two years of very intense stress with my work and my personal life. Thankfully things have improved for me but I find that I feel excessively tired, listless and reluctant to do much other than turn up at work put in my hours and go home and sleep. Sometimes I have a few drinks and feel better but generally this mkes me feel depressed the next day …. does anyone have any advice or similar experience to share?
Stress management tips ?
Make sure you leave time for yourself. buy one of those CD’s with waterfall or piano music on it and listen to it in the car during the ride to work, that way, you start your day off relaxed. listen to it on the way home, that way, when you get home, your mind will be more relaxed for sleeping. if you have problems with short, strong bursts of stress, deep breaths really do work. also, if you’re REALLY desperate, take some time to let a piece of chocolate melt in your mouth. in addition, whenever possible, take a long bath instead of a shower.
How do you cure physical symptoms of stress? Are they definitely stress?
How do you deal with anxiety?
I’ve been stressed with work and school lately and I’ve been involved in a relationship with a guy for 6 months and recently I’ve just been worrying about our future non stop and I don’t know how to deal with it anymore. I’m afraid that I’m going to lose him and I don’t want to. How do I deal with all this stress and anxiety without going on meds?
